Contrary to what anybody might say, the theme of this blog is not about picking on anybody. It’s not about oppressing gays. It’s not about my opposition to redefining marriage. It’s not about any of that stuff.

As it happens, the inspirations for Bias Incident (the persecutions of Ezra Levant and Stephen Boisson and Guy Earle in Canada) were done by jihadis and gay activists. It is they who seem uniquely prone to the argument “Shut up.” Anybody else who wants to use that despicable tactic will be pilloried here. If you can come up with genuine examples of right-wingers saying “shut up” instead of “you’re wrong and here’s why” then I will lambaste them here too.
I refuse to “shut up.”
One problem with anti-gay right wingers is that they can’t seem to tell the difference between being criticized for their ignorant rhetoric and being told that they don’t have a right to spew it.

Do you care to condemn the persecutions of Stephen Boisson and Guy Earle unequivocally? Do you care to condemn the courts that fined them and forced them to recant their statements as an affront to freedom?

I don’t know, nor have I heard of (other than the cult out of Westboro) any “anti-gay” people. I am certainly not “anti-gay.”
What we are “anti” is being forced to sanction homosexual behavior. If you want to be deviant, who cares? But when you force me to accept it or face punishment, no you step on MY rights!
